VE’CARTIER JOHNSON - SECRETARY

Ve’Cartier Johnson is a UCSB graduate and former Spanish teacher through Teach for America. As a first generation student from an underserved population, programs like Chicas Verdes allowed him to expand his understanding of the world and prepare for life at a university and beyond. It is his lifelong passion to ensure that all students are provided that same access to a quality education, opportunities, and the ability to explore nature and the world around them.

Ve’Cartier currently works as a Customer Success Manager for Clever, an Edtech company. He has also worked as a Customer Success Manager for Acast, a Program Manager for College Spring, and as a High School Placement Counselor for KIPP Public Schools.

Ve’Cartier is also a professional singer/songwriter and plays the saxophone. His favorite outdoor activity is hiking with his dog Coco and his favorite healthy snack is homemade spring rolls.
