Madeline Medina was born and raised in Southern California. After attending Vassar College in New York, she returned to teach 9th grade English in South Los Angeles through Teach For America. She worked to expand educational opportunities for students as a staff member for Teach For America for 11 years, leading recruiting, fundraising, policy and communications work. She now leads the Emerging Talent Pipeline Programs & Partnerships team at Meta, which invests in educational programs, strategic partnerships, and experiences in which historically underrepresented groups belong and are prepared to thrive in careers in tech. She enjoys hiking and running with her husband and daughter, and feasting on chilaquiles afterwards.
